Tradelyze runs your Pine Script strategy as written, with no conversion to another language, on a Pine Script backtesting engine, using the price data you upload. It then compares every trade with the trade list you exported from TradingView and shows a match rate.

Tradelyze validates strategies against 50+ prop firm rule sets including FTMO, MyForexFunds, The5ers, True Forex Funds, Funded Next, Topstep, and many more. It checks max daily drawdown, total drawdown (static, trailing, EOD-based), profit targets, minimum trading days, consistency rules, and time limits.

What is walk-forward analysis and why does it matter?

Walk-forward analysis splits your history into successive periods and checks whether results hold up across them. Tradelyze runs one of two versions and the result card names it: re-tuning the settings in every window and testing them on the part that window did not see, which is a test on unseen data, or scoring your recommended settings across one continuous run split by period, which checks consistency on the same history. Separately, Tradelyze by default holds back the last part of your history from the whole search and tests your recommended settings on it.
